Discover New York is a Destination Management Company and charter member of ADME (Association of Destination Management Executives). As a professional management company, DNY possess extensive local knowledge, expertise, resources and specializes in the design and delivery of luxury events, activities, tours, staffing and transportation.
Kitt Garrett, CEO, started Discover New York in 1993 out of a lifetime of passion for travel and entertaining around the world. With over 40 years experience of providing solutions to corporations and high-end clientele looking for personalized experiences, excellent and interesting dining and entertainment options, fine hotel and apartments, reliable and quality transportation for their executives, Kitt established Discover New York using her personal and learned knowledge of cuisine, hospitality and travel. She has been awarded the Condé Nast Traveler Destination Expert for New York exclusively for five consecutive years.
Discover New York works closely with individuals, groups, travel agents and meeting planners, and other partners providing an entertaining, educational and atypical experience of New York City, opening doors no-one else can. Whatever your passion or interest, Discover New York builds an itinerary around it to create a personalized, flawless experience from touch down to take off. Guests are welcomed into New York with a phone call and personalized welcome package from one of our Client Services Associates. Our Associates are available 24/7 for any additional questions and services while visiting New York City.
Our NY Experiences, Entertainment, and Special Programs are offered as “Edutainment†Experiences. Accompanied by experts in the field, guests have fun while learning something in their particular area of interest: History and Architecture, Horticulture, Decorative and Fine Arts, Shopping, Theater, Culinary, Spouse Programs, Children and Youth Programs, plus Shore Excursions for cruise clients who only have one day to spend in New York City.
Each NY Experience is a guided tour to see the inner part of New York City. Our team of program directors are experts in various fields and all of them have passed their test to become licensed New York City guides. They are uniquely qualified and offer a superior array of expertise and knowledge of New York City sights and sounds.
